There are thousands of artists selling their music, and there will be a lot more. Review sites, music blogs and zines do the same job for indies that the mainstream media does for the Majors. Here are a few good ones. Some of these sites combine news, forums, reviews, downloads, indies and even some big label tracks. There’s some overlap between them—some of the zines sell tracks and some of the communities carry reviews. Blog aggregators like The Hype Machine provide a convenient round-up of the action on music blogs.
